The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar works, with specific criteria as follows: - Completion of a single work of similar nature costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Completion of two works of similar nature, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Completion of three works of similar nature, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. In the case of a Joint Venture (JV), the experience can be collective. The proportionate value of experience will be considered in proportion to the actual share of the bidder in the JV. The cost of previous completed works will be given a simple weightage of 7% per year to bring them to the current price level, however, a 5% weightage shall be considered for work experience for floating of tender until the e-Procurement portal is updated. The bidder must have prior work experience of having successfully completed similar work during the last 7 years. The estimated cost put to tender is also a factor, with Joint Venture participation not allowed for tenders with an estimated cost below Rs. 2.0 Crores.
