The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar works, with specific values and percentages mentioned. The bidder can have one of the following experiences: - Completion of a single work of similar nature, with a cost of not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Completion of two works of similar nature, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Completion of three works of similar nature, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The experience of individual partners of a Joint Venture (JV) will be added together towards fulfillment of qualification criteria related to experience, with the proportionate value of experience considered in proportion to the actual share of the bidder in a joint venture firm/partnership firm. The cost of previous completed works will be given a simple weightage of 7% per year to bring them to the current price level. The bidder must have prior work experience of having successfully completed similar work during the last 7 years.
