The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover of 40% of the amount put to bid in any one year during the last five years, and satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to 40% of the estimated cost of the work for which the bid is invited. Alternatively, the bidder can demonstrate experience through a list of similar nature of work already completed having a minimum value of 40% of the estimated amount put to tender, or a list of similar nature of minimum 2 works already completed having a minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount put to tender, or a list of similar nature of running works already completed 80% or more and having a minimum value of 40% of the estimated amount put to tender. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as follows: - Minimum value of 40% of the estimated amount put to tender for the 1st Call - Minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount put to tender for the 2nd Call - Minimum value of 20% of the estimated amount put to tender for the 3rd Call - Alternatively, 2 similar nature of completed work, each with a minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount put to tender - One single running work of similar nature, which has been completed to the extent of 80% or more, with a value not less than the desired value mentioned above. The bidder should produce credentials of similar nature of completed work, and in case of running works, a certificate of satisfactory running work from the concerned Executive Engineer, or equivalent competent authority, stating that the work is in progress satisfactorily and no penal action has been initiated against the executing agency.
