The bid capacity required in the given tender is as follows: - Minimum Average Annual Turnover (MAAT): Rs. 315.00 Lacs (for the best three years out of the last five financial years) - Earnest money: Rs. 4.18 Lacs - Time allowed for completion: 9 Months - Estimated cost: Rs. 208.98 Lacs Formulas for calculating the bid capacity are specified for joint ventures: - The lead partner of the joint venture shall meet not less than 40% of the minimum criteria given for MAAT (i.e., 40% of Rs. 315.00 Lacs = Rs. 126.00 Lacs) - The other partner of the joint venture shall meet not less than 25% of the criteria given for MAAT (i.e., 25% of Rs. 315.00 Lacs = Rs. 78.75 Lacs) Additionally, the Additional Performance Security is calculated based on the estimated cost and the bid value as follows: - Up to 5% below the Estimated Cost: No Additional Performance Security. - From 5% below to 15% below the estimated cost: An Additional Performance Security of 0.5% of the estimated cost for every 1% below the estimated cost. - For more than 15% below the estimated cost: An Additional Performance Security equal to the percentage rate below the estimated cost quoted by the contractor himself. The formula for calculating the Additional Performance Security (APS) when the bid is between 5% and 15% below the estimated cost can be represented as: \[ APS = (Estimated\ Cost \times (Bid\ Reduction\ Percentage \times 0.5\%)) \] Where \( Bid\ Reduction\ Percentage \) is the percentage by which the bid is lower than the estimated cost, and it is applied for every 1% reduction.
