The required prior work experience for the bidder is categorized into four categories. For Categories 1 and 2, the bidder should have experience in projects with an estimated capital cost exceeding Rs. 179.46 Crore. The bidder should have held at least 26% of the paid-up and subscribed share capital in the project company. For Categories 3 and 4, the bidder should provide a certificate stating the nature of the project, commencement and commissioning dates, and the payment received for the construction works. The bidder should have paid for execution of its construction works or received payments from its client(s) for construction works executed, fully or partially, during the 10 financial years immediately preceding the Bid Due Date, with payments/receipts of at least Rs. 179.46 Crore. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - Amount: Rs 1000 crores (Net-Worth of Company A), Rs 500 crores (Net-Worth of Company B), Rs 179.46 Crore (capital cost of the project), Rs 500 crores (minimum amount for EPC contractor's prior experience) - Percentage: 60% (shareholding of Company A), 40% (shareholding of Company B), 26% (minimum equity shareholding for Categories 1 and 2), 20% (minimum percentage of total project cost for EPC contractor's prior experience) The Experience Score for an Eligible Project in a given category is calculated by dividing the eligible payments and/or receipts by one crore and then multiplying by a factor, which varies across categories: - Category 1: 1.25 - Category 2: 1.0 - Category 3: 0.75 - Category 4: 0.50 For projects situated in a developed country which is a member of OECD, the Experience Score is further multiplied by a factor of 0.5.
