The important information given under the technical capacity header which is specifically related to prior work experience includes: * The Applicant should furnish the details of Eligible Experience for the last 5 (five) financial years immediately preceding the Application Due Date. * Experience for any activity relating to an Eligible Project shall not be claimed by two or more Members of the Joint Venture, i.e., no double counting by a Joint Venture in respect of the same experience shall be permitted. * The sum total of the Technical experience/capacity for all Eligible Projects shall be the ‘Aggregate Technical experience/capacity’ of a particular Applicant. * In case of a Joint Venture, the Aggregate Technical experience/capacity of the Lead Member including other members shall be the Aggregate Technical experience/capacity of the Joint Venture. * The equity shareholding of the Applicant, in the company owning the Eligible Project, held continuously during the period for which Eligible Experience is claimed, needs to be given. * The estimated capital cost of Eligible Project is required. * The date of commissioning of the project, upon completion, should be indicated. * Certificate from the Applicant’s statutory auditor or its respective clients must be furnished for each Eligible Project. * The certificate should include details such as the name of the Applicant, the title of the project company, the amount of equity held, and the percentage of total paid-up and subscribed equity capital. * The total estimated capital cost of the project and the amount undertaken by the Applicant for construction of the project are required. * The experience capacity for an Eligible Project situated in an OECD country shall be further multiplied by 0.5. * Eligible Experience in respect of each category shall be measured only for Eligible Projects. * For a project to qualify as an Eligible Project under Categories 1 and 2, it should have been undertaken as a PPP project on BOT, BOLT, BOO, BOOT or other similar basis, with a minimum of 26% equity held by the entity claiming experience, and a capital cost exceeding 10% of the Estimated Project Cost. * For a project to qualify as an Eligible Project under Categories 3 and 4, the Applicant should have received payments from its client(s) for construction works executed, with receipts of less than Rs. 20 crore not being reckoned as receipts for Eligible Projects. * The Experience Score for an Eligible Project in a given category would be the eligible receipts divided by one crore and then multiplied by the applicable factor. * The entity claiming experience shall, during the last 5 financial years preceding the Application Due Date, have itself undertaken the construction of the project for an amount equal to at least one half of the Project Cost of eligible projects. * The cost of land and the cost of maintenance and repair, operation of Highways shall not be included while computing the Experience Score of an Eligible Project. * The rate of conversion for US Dollars to Rupees shall be Rupees 50 to a US Dollar. * The score for each category would be computed by dividing the amount by one crore and then multiplied by the applicable factor. * The factors for experience across categories are: - Category 1: 1 - Category 2: 0.50 - Category 3: 1 - Category 4: 0.50 * The Applicant should have prior work experience in similar type of work, with specific details to be provided. * The total payments received and/or revenues appropriated for self-construction for each Eligible Project are to be stated, with a break-up for the past 5 financial years. * For Categories 1 and 2, expenditure on construction of the project by the Applicant itself should be provided, but only in respect of projects having an estimated capital cost exceeding the amount specified. * The Lead Member shall itself undertake and perform at least 30 (thirty) per cent of the total length of the Project Highway. * The Lead Member of a Joint Venture shall meet at least 60% requirement of Technical Capacity required.
