M&L for applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sq metre VG-10 (Paving bitumen) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 grade, laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed. Note for item No. 03 & 05 :(i) Aggregates for Bituminous works shall confirm to clause No 20.B.2.5 of SSR 2009 Part- I (ii) Based on job mix formula, in case the binder content (i.e. Bitumen) is less than the content specified under these items then a minus adjustment @ Rs 52/- per kg of bitumen (less consumption) shall be applied on the quoted rate of contractor against these items, hence the quoted rate of contractor shall be reduced based on less content of bitumen required as per job mix formula. However, no price adjustment on plus side shall be made for increase of quantity of bitumen in case of required as per job mix formula. (iii) Design Mix for bituminous macadam shall be carried out through an authorised testing lab and the cost of testing shall be included in quoted rate.

Demolition of cement concrete(un-reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing 150mm thick cement concrete work in pavement/ hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg/per square centimetre in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 25 cm or less including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for finishing surface of concrete roads, pavements by brooming complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming 12 mm thick expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade ‘B’ thickness of slab 150 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming Contraction (Dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with sealing compound grade A complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying hot applied thermoplastic compound (paint) 2.5mm thick including reflecting glass beads incl cost of all materials, labour, machinery, T&P etc. required for proper completion of work incl all other charges. The finished surfaces to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes as per MORTH specification No. 803 as per IRC. Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. on roads, pavements and the like n exc. 10 cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow complete all as specified and directed.
