M & L framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces etc, complete drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering , doors etc to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering running rails and guides) and hanging also fastening and fixing only complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for brick work with Sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortor 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick/stone masonry built in cement mortar incl quoins arches pillars etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for walling of random rubble stone masonry, un-coursed, well bonded, bedded, solidly hearted and built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

Extra over stone walling for hammer dressing to faces of stone and dressing of faced beds and joints as specified for RR walling uncoursed or brought upto courses hammer dressing with maximum depression on face from straight edge held against the dressed surface n exc. 40mm for lime or sand stone complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for raised pointing to RR or Polygon rubble uncoursed or brought upto course in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for Rendering 15 mm thick CM 1:6 on brick or concrete surfaces finished even & fair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparing newly plastered surfaces ,and applying 2 coats of Oil Bound Distemper over a coat of alkali resistent primer on walls complete all as specified and directed

M&L preparing Old plastered surfaces ,and applying 2 coats of Oil Bound Distemper on walls complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Rendering 15mm thick on brick walling in CM (1:4), finished even and smooth w/o using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for applying Two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces. Note:- 1. The newly plastered surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of emulsion paint. The cost of all materials, T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (ii). The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE/ AGE (I) before commencement of work. (iii). All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by deportment for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture. (iv). after carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE /AGE (I) before application of distemper for each building. (v). The colour / shade will be all as approved by GE / AGE (I) (vi) The cost of Scaffolding wherever required are deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor

Dismantling post struts (wood, steel or RCC) any description incl taking out embeded portion & making good disturbed ground ,post embeded in concrete /masonery etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling fencing wire mesh any type complete all as specified and directed

S & F Joist, channel, angle, tee/flat or other sections, including cutting tops to shapes as directed drilling holes ,notching for wire etc and simillar work conforming to Fe 290 Gde-E-165 etc all as specified and directed.

Fixing only Chain link fencing in patch incl line wires any mesh size and type to any type of standard rail ,staining bolts etc incl provn of binding wire complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Chain link MS glavanised fencing any size or type as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only 8 to 10 mm dia mild steel round bar for line wire of chain link fencing complete all as specified and directed.

S & F mild steel screw bolts (machine made) 5 to 10mm dia and length of bolt exceeding exc 5cm but n exc 10 cm long with hexagonal or square head at one end and other end screwed or both end screwed, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for prepration of new steel surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs Galvanized, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia., barbed with 2 mm dia., barbs at 75 mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with complete fixing accessories complete alll as specified and directed.

Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from metal frames including punching or drilling out old glazing pins/ spring clips complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 3 mm thick Sheet glass, ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in squares not exceeding 0.50 sqm in each pane complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in rep galvanised mild steel wire cloth 0.56 mm nominal dia of wire and width of aperture 1.18 mm fixed with tinned tacks, or galvanised wire staples complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding / terrazo dado etc (but not backing), removing servicable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick Cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base to floors finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed.

M & L cement concrete 100mm thick type B-2, 1:2:4 (40mm graded aggregate) as in path/hardstanding complete all as specified and directed.

Spike rolling to surfaces or making impressions of expanded metal, while the concrete is green all as specified and directed.

M & L for plain cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (20 mm graded agg) in copings, Kneelers, apex stone, bed plate, kerbs including slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed.

M & L for glazed ceramic coloured tiles of size (350 x250x7mm / 450 x350 x 7mm) thick on verticle surfaces, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match tiles including 10 mm rendering as in backing coat in CM (1:4) complete all as specified.

S & F for non skid coloured ceramic tiles 7 to 8mm thick (Square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 Sqm but not exceeding 0.18 Sqm, in floor etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective Overhead informatory road signage and boards, made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lens type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - III of ASTMD-4956-01 as approved by Engineer-in-charge, letters, borders etc. as per IRC : 67-2001 in silver white with blue colour back ground and with high intensity grade, pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure conforming to class II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same to the plate of structural frame work by means of suitable sized aluminium alloys, rivets or bolts & nuts @ 300 mm centre to centre all along the periphery as well as in two vertical rows along with theft resistant measures, including the cost of painting with two or more coats of epoxy paint in grey colour on the back side of aluminium sheet including appropriate priming coat. The rate includes the cost of rounding off the corners, lowering down the structural frame work from the gantry, fixing and erecting the same in position all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the engineer-in-charge. Note:- 1. Structural frame work including M.S. plate to be provided separately. 2. Rectangular area of the sheet only shall be measured for payment.
