M&L for earthing of GOD & LA with galvanised cost iron earth plate of size 600x600x6mm thick burred directly in ground not less than 2.25mtr below normal ground level, earth plate packed on all side with charcoal mixed with salt to a thickness of 150mm connected by GI earth strip of size 32x6mm thick soldered and riveted to earth plate. GI earth strip will be protected by using 50mm bore light grade GI pipe earth plate to steel tubular pole including flat iron clamp 25x3mm including bolts nut and washers complete including watering GI pipe 20mm dia light grade 2.5mtr long the earthing include PCC pit including necessary earth work and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not less than 50mtr, chamber of PCC (!:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, coping shall be PCC(1:3:6) type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, RCC pit cover 50mm thick (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, reinforced with 8mm MS bar at 80mm C/C both way in lieu of CI pit cover and angle iron frame including flame funnel, wire mess, GI earth wire, 8SWG under the earth and on the pole upto height of 1.5mtr shall be protected by 15mm dia GI pipe (Light grade) GI pipe to be fixed with pole by means of 2 Nos flat iron clamps 25x 3mm size complete with bolts, nuts and washers etc. complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 5 of MES sch part -I 1991.
