M&L for preparation of old surface on ceiling including brooming down or steel wire brushing scraping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spots making the surface even and smooth and applying one coat acrylic distemper (oil emulsion ) on old decorated surfaces using rollers complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old decorated distempered surfaces on internal walls including brooming down or steel wire brushing scraping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spots and making the surface smooth by rubbing with sand paper and applying one coat of acrylic distemper (oil emulsion) using rollers of approved tint and make all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No 5 above but two coats of acrylic distemper (oil emulsion) on wall surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of internal wall by removing existing treatment with mechanical sander (rpm 1500-2700) along with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by reputed paint manufacturers and applying two coats of acrylic distemper using roller over 1mm layer of wall care putty to make the surface smooth all as specified and prescribed by manufacturer of paint and all as directed at site by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (i) The old surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even and smooth all as per manufacture’s instruction before application of distemper. The cost of materials, labour & T&P required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (ii). The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE before commencement of work. (iii). All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by department for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture. (iv). After carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE before application of distemper for each building. (v). The colour / shade will be all as approved by GE.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of exterior wall by removing existing treatment with mechanical sander (rpm 1500-2700) along with dust extraction system for clean environment certified by reputed paint manufacturers, then washing the surface with Bleaching powder solution for treatment of fungal growth and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint (wallmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) The old surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all with a layer of water resistant putty as per manufacture instruction before application of distemper. The cost of materials, labour & T&P required for preparation of surface are demand to be included in the rates quoted. (ii). The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specially provided and including removing unserviceable material,outside of A 1 defence land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate, as in padding, roof kerb or mud stops,round or chamfered on edges coping portion rounded chamfered on edge on roof chajjas finished even and smooth complete directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster, from brick or stone walls etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc and removing unserviceable material,outside of A 1 defence land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete walls internal surfaces in CM 1:6 finished to even & fair without using extra cement.Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge .

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 on other than fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces finishing even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L rendering 5 mm thick in CM 1:3 in ceiling / Chhajja's finished even and smooth (without using extra cement). Complete all as specified and directed

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of external wall and applying two coat of cement base paint complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for white washing three coats on ceiling incl preparation of newly plastered surfaces. complete all as specified and directed by Engr In Charge.

M&L for white washing three coats on wall incl preparation of newly plastered surfaces.complete all as specified and directed by Engr In Charge.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of external wall all as prescribed by manufacture of paint and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint (walmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of internal wall by application of 1mm wall care putty to remove the dent and to make the surface even and smooth by grinding or rubbing with sand paper and applying two coats of acrylic distemper over a coat of primer using roller all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old concrete surfaces of walls, kerb stone including complete removal of existing surface and the like and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of wood and wood based materials, wooden, plastered, concrete surfaces of any descriptions not otherwise described over 10Cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing old painted steel and Iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm Width /Girth and applying one coats of synthetic enamel paint of any tint all as directed

Removal of tree/ roots etc from chajja facia roof and wall, corner of wall etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting of grass, bushes scrubbing/ scraping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and treating oil and greasy spots complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the BIS specifications shall be followed.
