M&L for coloured vitrified tiles of any design and pattern, double charged, 9 to10 mm thick, as in floor etc incl 15 mm thick screed bed in CM (1:4), set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of the tiles. Tiles shall be confirming to IS-15622:2017, Group B1b with average water absorption less than 0.05%. Length, width and straightness of sides + 0.10% (Max deviation). Thickness + 4.0% (Max deviation). Centre & Edge curvature and warpage + 0.20% (Max Deviation). Breaking strength 1200 N (Minimum) and minimum 95% tiles shall be free from visible defects and area of each is as following complete all as specified and directed :-

Note:- (i) The newly plastered surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of emulsion paint. The cost of all materials, T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (ii) The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE/ AGE (I) before commencement of work. (iii) All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by deportment for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture.
(iv) After carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE /AGE (I) before application of distemper for each building.
(v) Before commencing the work, contractor will got the written approval from GE/ AGE (I) for the make and colour / shade (tint).
(vi) The cost of Scaffolding wherever required are deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor.
