The bidder should have achieved a minimum financial civil engineering construction turnover of 50% of the construction cost of the work in any one year. The bidder should have also satisfactorily completed, as prime contractor, at least one similar nature work having a value not less than 25% of the construction cost of the work. For technical personnel, the required experience is as follows: - Engineer in Charge: 5 years of experience in civil engineering construction work - Site Engineer: 2 years of experience in civil engineering construction work - Work Supervisor: 2 years of experience in civil engineering construction work The bidder's experience in works of a similar nature for each of the last five years, and details of works in progress or contractually committed with certificates from the concerned officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent, are also required. The total monetary value of civil engineering construction work performed for each of the last five years should be provided. The available bid capacity for construction work is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering work executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the last year at a rate of 10 percent a year. The bidder must demonstrate having experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts. Mentioned values and percentages of similar works completed include: - 50% of the construction cost of the work (minimum financial civil engineering construction turnover) - 25% of the construction cost of the work (minimum value of similar nature work completed) - 10 percent a year (rate of update to the price level of the last year for available bid capacity calculation)
