The required prior work experience for the bidder involves satisfactorily completing, as principal contractor/subcontractor in the immediately preceding seven years, one of the following: - One completed similar work costing not less than 25% of the estimated cost, - Two completed similar works each costing not less than 15% of the estimated cost, - Three completed similar works each costing not less than 10% of the estimated cost. The similarity is based on physical size, complexity, methods, technology, or other characteristics. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum financial civil engineering construction turnover of 50% of the estimated construction cost of the work in any one year in the last five years. The turnover will be indexed at the rate of 10% per year. The bidder is required to provide details of similar nature of works, including the name of the item, quantity, cost, and remarks explaining reasons for delay of completion of work, along with experience certificates issued from the Engineer-in-charge. Additionally, the bidder must demonstrate having resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts. For Joint Ventures, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50% of qualification criteria, while each of the remaining partners shall meet not less than 25% of all the criteria, with the Joint Venture collectively satisfying the subject of the criteria. The specific values like amount and percentage for similar works completed are mentioned as 25%, 15%, and 10% of the estimated cost for one, two, and three similar works respectively. The minimum financial civil engineering construction turnover is 50% of the estimated construction cost of the work.
