The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed similar works with any Govt agencies/PSU/Municipal Corporation/local Govt bodies in the last seven financial years. The similar work experience can be in the form of three similar works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or one similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work. The values and percentages mentioned for similar works completed are: - 40% of the estimated cost of work for three similar works - 50% of the estimated cost of work for two similar works - 80% of the estimated cost of work for one similar work Additionally, the bidder needs to have working capital and/or credit facilities of at least 10% of the estimated cost of the work. The bidder should also have employed engineers with specific experience, including a Graduate Engineer with minimum 3 years experience, a Diploma engineer with minimum 6 years experience, a Quality Control Engineer with 3 years experience, and a Survey Engineer with experience in Total Station Survey. The Available Bid Capacity (ABC) should be more than the estimated cost of work, calculated as: ABC = 2.5 x A x N - B, where A is the maximum value of all Civil Engineering works in any one year during the last 5 financial years, N is the number of years, and B is the outstanding debts. The enhancement factors for updating the maximum value of all Civil Engineering works to the current price level are: - Last first year: 1.10 - Last second year: 1.20 - Last third year: 1.30 - Last fourth year: 1.40 - Last fifth year: 1.50 The bidder needs to submit a list of works completed or substantially completed in the last seven financial years and ongoing works, along with details of their available bid capacity, including balance sheets or certificates from a chartered accountant indicating annual turnover of civil engineering works constructed in the last five years. The values and percentages mentioned for contracts are: - 5% of the Contract Sum for contracts not exceeding Rs. 4 lakhs - 3% of the Contract Sum (subject to a minimum of Rs. 20,000) for contracts exceeding Rs. 4 lakhs but not exceeding Rs. 10 lakhs - Rs. 20,000 plus 2% of the Contract Sum exceeding Rs. 10 lakh (subject to a maximum of Rs. 1,00,000) for contracts exceeding Rs. 10 lakhs but not exceeding Rs. 100 lakh - 1% of the contract sum (subject to a maximum of Rs. 5 lakh) for contracts exceeding Rs. 100 lakh.
