The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the category of work. For works more than Rs. 10.00 Lacs and up to Rs. 15.00 Lacs, the tenderer must have at least two jobs equal to the bid value in the last four financial years. For works more than Rs. 15.00 Lacs and up to Rs. 100.00 Lacs, the tenderer must have at least two jobs equal to the bid value in the last four financial years. For works more than Rs. 100.00 Lacs and up to Rs. 2000.00 Lacs, the bidder should have either two jobs equal to the bid value or one work equal to 75% of the bid value in the last four financial years. For works of Rs. 2000.00 Lacs and above, the bidder should have either three works each equal to 40% of the bid value, two works each equal to 60% of the bid value, or one work equal to 80% of the bid value in the last four financial years. Additionally, the bidder should have a minimum of five years of prior work experience.
