The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in similar fields for the last four financial years in organized sectors. The bidder should have a cumulative turnover considered over three consecutive years out of the last four assessment years, with a relaxation of 20% in the value of turnover for working contractors. The experience certificates should clearly indicate the head bifurcation of works, such as Road, Drain, Sewer, Water supply, Building, Electrical, etc. The quantities given in the bill of quantities are approximate and are liable to variation up to 25% on either side without entitling the Contractor to any compensation or extra rate. The bidder should have a sound financial position and be capable of executing works in accordance with the specifications and within the specified time schedule. The value of similar works completed is mentioned as Rs. 500.00 Lacs, but it is not clear if this is the required value or just an example.
