The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on their qualification. For a Degree Holder in Civil Engineering, the minimum experience required is 2 years for contracts up to Rs. 2.00 Crore and 1 year for contracts above Rs. 2.00 Crore. For a Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering, the minimum experience required is 2 years for contracts up to Rs. 2.00 Crore and 2 years for contracts above Rs. 2.00 Crore. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature, with specific requirements including: - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, - Or one similar completed work costing not less than the estimated cost. The percentage of similar works completed is 50% in the case of two similar works. The amount is equal to the estimated cost of work for one similar work or 50% of the estimated cost of work for two similar works. Additionally, the bidder must have satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to the estimated cost of work or two similar works each equal to 50% of the value of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should have achieved, in any one year, a minimum financial turnover of at least the amount equal to the estimated cost of works, if the time of completion is equal to or more than one year, and double the estimated cost of work if the time of completion is less than one year. The bidder's available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value. The available bid capacity is calculated using the formula: Assessed Available Bid capacity = (A*N*M - B), where A is the maximum value of R.E. Wall & Related structures work executed in any one year during the last five years.
