The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar works with specific value and percentage requirements. The bidder must have completed works in the field of supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of 220 kV or higher voltage rating Control & Protection Panels / Substation Automation System (SAS). There are two sets of requirements mentioned. The first set requires the bidder to have completed either two similar works costing not less than 50% each of the estimated value, or one similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated value. The second set requires the bidder to have completed either three similar works costing not less than 40% each of the estimated value, two similar works costing not less than 50% each of the estimated value, or one similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated value. Additionally, the average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years should be at least 30% of the estimated cost of the tender. The similar works should have been completed in SEBs/UPRVUNL/NTPC/BHEL/PSUs/Power Grid or other Central/State Public Sector Power Utility/Govt. Sector/IPP Sector body during the last 7 years from the previous month of opening of e-bid.
