The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar works with specific cost thresholds. The options are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the cost of this job in tender - Two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the cost of this job in tender - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the cost of this job in tender These requirements apply to various types of works, including building works, pile work, aluminum work, steel structure work, metallic roofing work, and water proofing work. For building work, the requirements are: - More than fifteen storey buildings - Minimum one building of Ten storeys - Completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to ten storeys. Additionally, the bidder should have an average annual financial turnover of at least 30% of the estimated cost during the last 5 years, and not have incurred any loss in more than 2 years during the last 5 years. The value of executed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a rate given, calculated from the date of completion to the last date of submission of tenders. The cost of the work shall mean the gross value of the completed work, including all taxes and the cost of materials supplied by the government/client, but excluding those supplied free of cost. The experience certificate should be certified by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer/Project Manager or equivalent. The bidder should also have satisfactorily completed similar works in the last 7 years, with the cost of work meaning the gross value of the completed work. The bidder should have completed similar works with a minimum value as specified, and should have sufficient experience in civil engineering construction. The bidder should furnish a list of all works of similar nature successfully completed during the last seven years. The bidder should have executed one similar work with minimum one basement under one Agreement, if the work involves construction of two or more basements. The definition of similar work is decided based on guidelines, including the number of storeys for building works. For building works, the number of storeys to be mentioned in the definition of similar work may be taken as follows: - Up to four storey buildings: No binding - Five to ten storey buildings: Minimum one building of Five storeys or completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to five storeys - Eleven to fifteen storey buildings: Minimum one building of Eight storeys or completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to eight storeys.
