The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar works in the last 7 years, with specific requirements such as: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost (Rs. 203.42 Lacs). - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost. - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. For building works, the number of storeys is considered to determine similar work experience, with guidelines as follows: - Up to four storey buildings: No binding - Five to ten storey buildings: Minimum one building of Five storeys or completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to five storeys - Eleven to fifteen storey buildings: Minimum one building of Eight storeys or completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to eight storeys - More than fifteen storey buildings: Minimum one building of Ten storeys or completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to ten storeys The bidder should also have experience with a significant component in the work other than normal building work, and should have completed balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to ten storeys, or having experience with more than fifteen storey buildings, with a minimum of one building of ten storeys. The value of similar works completed should be at least 30% of the tendered cost in civil/electrical construction work during the last available three-year consecutive balance sheets. The bidder should have an average annual financial turnover of at least 30% of the estimated cost during the last 5 years. The estimated cost of the work is Rs. 203.42 Lacs, and the bidder should have a solvency of 40% of the tendered cost, which is certified by their bankers. The bidder's performance for each work completed in the last seven years and in-hand should be certified by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer/Project Manager or equivalent. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least 30% of the tendered cost in civil/electrical construction work during the last available three-year consecutive balance sheets, and should submit details of all works of similar nature completed during the last seven years. The bidder should have an average annual financial turnover (gross) of a minimum of 30% of the tendered cost in Civil/Electrical construction work during the last available three-year consecutive balance sheets, duly audited by a Chartered Accountant. The bidder should also have a minimum bidding capacity, which is calculated based on the maximum turnover in construction works executed in any one year during the last seven years. The bidder's bidding capacity should be equal to or more than the work put to tender, calculated based on the value of completed works brought to the current costing level. The cost of work shall mean the gross value of the completed work, including taxes and the cost of material supplied by the Government/client, but excluding items supplied free of cost. The bidder should have sufficient experience in works highlighting experience in similar works. The bidder should have a certificate from a Chartered Accountant mentioning the financial turnover on construction work for the last 7 years. The bidder should not have incurred any loss in more than 2 years during the last 5 years. The bidder should have a solvency of 40% of the estimated cost from a bank or 10% solvency of the estimated cost from the District Magistrate. The value of executed works is brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a given escalation factor, which varies by financial year. The bidder should have had an average annual financial turnover (gross) of a minimum of 30% of the tendered cost in Civil/Electrical construction work during the last available three-year consecutive balance sheets, duly audited by a Chartered Accountant. The bidder should have a certain level of experience and financial turnover in construction work. In case the work involves construction of two or more
