The class eligibility requirements to bid or participate in this tender are Class "c" and Class "B".

The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid can be determined by the following conditions and formulas: 1. The Bidder should have satisfactorily completed works during the last Seven years ending the previous day of the last date of submission of tenders. 2. The cost of work shall mean the gross value of the completed work, including the cost of material supplied by the Government/Client, but excluding those supplied free of cost. 3. The bidder must meet one of the following conditions: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the tendered cost. - Two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the tendered cost. - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the tendered cost. 4. Additionally, the bidder must have completed one work of any nature (either part of the above or a separate one) costing not less than 40% of the tendered cost with some Central/State Government Department/Central Autonomous Body/State Autonomous Body/Central Public Sector Undertaking/State Public Sector Undertaking/City Development Authority/Municipal Corporation of City formed under any Act by Central/State Government and published in Central/State Gazette and reputed private entities. 5. The value of executed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a given rate calculated from the date of completion to the last date of submission of tenders. Formulas for calculating the bid capacity: - For three similar works: 3 * 0.4 * Tendered Cost - For two similar works: 2 * 0.5 * Tendered Cost - For one similar work: 1 * 0.8 * Tendered Cost - For one work of any nature: 0.4 * Tendered Cost Also, the bidding capacity of the contractor should be equal to or more than the work put to tender. The bidding capacity can be calculated using the formula: Bidding Capacity = (A x N x 2.5) - B Where: A = Maximum turnover in construction works executed in any one year during the last seven years, N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited, B = Value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the period of completion of work for which bids have been invited.
