The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar works of a certain value and percentage of the tendered cost. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of not less than 40% of the tendered cost. Additionally, the bidder should have an average annual financial turnover of at least 30% of the tendered cost in civil/electrical construction work during the last three consecutive years. For specialized works such as Pile work, Aluminum work, Steel Structure Work, Metallic Roofing work, and Water proofing work, the bidder should have completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the cost of this job in tender, - Or two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the cost of this job in tender, - Or one similar work costing not less than 80% of the cost of this job in tender. The value of executed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a specified escalation factor. The bidder should also have experience of similar class of works completed, with specific requirements for different story buildings. The bidder should have completed at least one building of five stories for five to ten story buildings. The bidder should have an average annual financial turnover of at least 30% of the estimated cost during the last 5 years and should not have incurred any loss in more than 2 years during the last 5 years. The bidding capacity of the contractor should be equal to or more than the estimated cost of the work put to tender. The bidder should have a solvency of 40% of the estimated cost certified by their Bankers. The bidder is required to provide details of all works of similar nature completed during the last seven years in Form C and a performance report of works in Form E. The bidder should own construction equipment as per the list required for the proper and timely execution of the work, or certify that they would be able to manage the equipment by hiring, etc. The bidder should have sufficient technical and administrative employees for the proper execution of the contract.
