The required prior work experience for the bidder includes a list of all works of similar nature successfully completed during the last seven years. For civil works, the bidder should have completed similar works with values of at least 40%, 50%, or 80% of the estimated cost. Specifically, the bidder should have: - Two similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, - One similar completed work costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. For Steel Structure Work, Metallic Roofing work, and Water proofing work, the bidder should have: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the cost of the job in tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the cost of the job in tender, - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the cost of the job in tender. The average annual financial turnover during the last 5 years should be at least 30% of the estimated cost. The bidding capacity of the contractor should be equal to or more than the work put to tender. The bidder should not have incurred any loss in more than 2 years during the last 5 years. A solvency of 40% of the estimated cost from a bank or 10% solvency of the estimated cost from the District Magistrate is required. The value of executed works should be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a specified rate. The experience should be certified by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer/Project Manager, or equivalent. The similar work should be "Building Civil Works". The percentages mentioned are 40%, 50%, and 80%. The amount of similar works completed can be one, two, or three, depending on the cost of each work. The cost of each similar work should be at least 40%, 50%, or 80% of the estimated cost or the cost of the job in tender.
