Details of Work.

Major overhauling and repairing of following 33 KV VCB type circuit breaker at 132 KV Substations under ETD Hamirpur:-

(A) 33 KV VCB ABB Make of LV side of 63 MVA T/F-I (B) 33 KV VCB CGL Make of Bharwara feeder at 132 KV S/S Panwari. (C) 33 KV VCB Shreem Make of Muskara feeder 132 KV S/S Rath (1) By doing following work in each circuit breaker :- (i) Cleaning of porcelain of drive insulator and porcelain of vacuum interrupter outside of each pole. (ii) Checking & adjustement of snatch gap, travel of drive insulator rod & tie rod of each pole. (iii) Opening, repairing of mechanism by welding, drilling, machning and filling of material as per requirement and proper fitting of it in breaker cubicle. (iv) Oiling & greasing of crank gears by opening of lock circlip etc (v) Replacement of worn out parts such as bush, rings, lock pins and latch etc. (vi) Checking & adjustment of oil daspot of breaker for its damping action. (2) After major overhauling and repairing of above VCB, following tests are to be carried out :- (i) Opening & closing time of breaker of each pole. (ii) Checking of megger values of breaker poles. (iii) Checking the CLOSE/OPEN operation of breaker from REMOTE & LOCAL. (iv) Prepare and submit the site ovehauling report of each breaker.
