Bid Capacity
The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid can be calculated using the formula:
Assessed Available Bid Capacity = 2 x A x N – B
Where,
A = Maximum turnover during the last five financial year (corrected to the current level of value).
N = Stipulated period of execution of the work for which the tender is invited in years.
B = value of existing commitments to be completed during the execution period of bid.
The turnover shall be corrected to the current level of value by multiplying with the updation factor.

Additionally, the bidder must have a positive net worth and a solvency of minimum 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The average annual financial turnover during the immediate last 3 consecutive financial years should be at least 30% of the estimated cost put to tender.
The value of executed works/ turnover shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual values @ 7% per year calculated from the date of completion to last date of submission of tenders, using the escalation/enhance factor:
* For executed work and turnover:
- 2023-2024: 1.00
- 2022-2023: 1.07
- 2021-2022: 1.14
- 2020-2021: 1.21
- 2019-2020: 1.28
Technical Capacity
The required prior work experience for the bidder includes:
- Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the estimated cost of work put to bid,
- Two similar works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work put to bid,
- One similar completed work costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost of work put to bid.
At least one completed work of similar nature should have been executed with a Central/ State Government Organisation, costing not less than 30% of the estimated cost put to tender. The remaining work experience should satisfy the requirements with works successfully executed for reputed private organisations.
The value of executed works/turnover shall be brought to the current cost level by enhancing the actual value at the rate of 7% per annum at a simple rate.
Similar work shall mean Construction of “R.C.C Frame structure of Building Works”.
The bidder should have successfully completed similar works during the last ten years. The values of similar works completed are:
- 30% of the estimated cost of the work put to bid for one similar work with a government organization.
- 30%, 40%, or 60% of the estimated cost of the work put to bid for the other similar works.
The cost of work put to bid is more than 10 Cr.
