The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - One similar completed, tested, and commissioned work costing not less than 60% of the estimated project cost. - Or, two similar completed, tested, and commissioned works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated project cost. - Or, three similar completed, tested, and commissioned works each costing not less than 30% of the estimated project cost. Additionally, the bidder should have experience of at least one year of O&M works/defect liability period for all components of a water supply scheme. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - The bidder must have completed works each costing not less than 30% of the estimated project cost. - The bidder should have a minimum Annual Turnover of 50% of the estimated project cost in any one financial year in the last three years. - The bidder should have an Average Annual Turnover of not less than 30% of the estimated project cost for the last three financial years. - The bidder should have a solvency certificate of minimum 40% of the estimated cost of works. - The bidder should have a positive Net worth of at least 20% of the project cost. - The bidder's available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value. - The contractor's liability to pay compensation shall not exceed 10% of the total work cost. - The amount of compensation may be 1% or 0.1% of the cost of work remaining un-commenced or unfinished or delayed work per day. The experience of the key staff is to be mentioned, including the number of years employed with the firm, task assigned, and man-months. The bidder is required to provide information on the countries/state of work experience, employment record, and detailed tasks assigned, along with project names, locations, years, and positions held. In the case of a Joint Venture (JV), the Lead Member of JV should meet a minimum 51% criteria related to Turnover/Solvency on their own, and other members should meet at least 10% criteria on their own.
