To determine the bid capacity required in the given tender, we can refer to the provided formulas. The bid capacity can be calculated using the formula: Assessed available bid capacity = 2xAxN - B Where A = Maximum turnover during the last five financial years (corrected to the current level of value) N = Stipulated period of execution of the work for which the tender is invited in years. B = Value of existing commitments to be completed during the execution period of bid. Additionally, the required bid capacity is also calculated using the formula: Bid capacity = (Value of existing commitments to be completed during the execution period of the work + Value of the bid) x Updation factor For Joint Ventures (JV), the minimum bid capacity of each member must be in the ratio of their stake holding in JV and the sum of bid capacity of JV members must be more than or equal to the required bid capacity. Another formula for bid capacity is related to the Bank Solvency Certificate, which should be equivalent to at least 40 percent of the cost put to bid, represented as: Bank Solvency Certificate ≥ 0.4 * Cost put to bid Furthermore, for Joint Ventures (JV), the lead member should have a turnover of at least 51% of the total turnover required, and a solvency of at least 51% of the total solvency required, represented as: Lead member's turnover ≥ 0.51 * Total turnover required Lead member's solvency ≥ 0.51 * Total solvency required Other members of the JV should have at least 30% stake holding, and the aggregate technical eligibility and financial eligibility of individual members can be considered for meeting the minimum required criteria, provided each member holds at least 30% of the equity, represented as: Member's stake holding ≥ 0.3 Member's equity ≥ 0.3 (for technical and financial eligibility consideration)
