The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - One similar completed, tested, and commissioned work costing not less than 60% of the estimated project cost, - OR, two similar completed, tested, and commissioned works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated project cost, - OR, three similar completed, tested, and commissioned works each costing not less than 30% of the estimated project cost. Additionally, the bidder should have experience of at least 1 year of O&M works/defect liability period for all components of a water supply scheme. The value and percentage of similar works completed are evaluated based on the experience certificate obtained from the Government/Semi Government/Public Sector, not below the rank of Executive Engineer. The cost will be evaluated simply at 8% per year. The bidder's prior work experience is also evaluated on the percentage of partnership in case of work done on a Joint Venture (JV) basis. The bidder needs to provide information about the projects they have completed, including the project location, system capacity, client, project cost, and status of the project. The bidder is required to provide details of their experience in the format specified, including their employment record, list of tasks assigned to them, and project experience that supports their capability to handle the tasks. The amount of compensation that the contractor may be liable to pay can be up to 10% of the total work cost, with a daily compensation of 1% or 0.1% of the cost work remain un-commenced or unfinished or delayed work per day.
