The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to contracting experience for the type of job for which the tender is invited, specifically civil engineering work involving fabrication and erection of specific structures. The bidder must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed, with a value of not less than 35% of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - At least 35% of the work to be subletted - At least 90% of the present contract value for substantially completed work - Up to Rs 50 lakh for subletting without requiring previous work experience - Rs 500 crore and above average annual turnover for public listed companies Additionally, the bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The bidder should submit an experience certificate as per the prescribed format, duly self-attested or digitally signed, along with the copy of the letter of acceptance or agreement for similar work. The experience certificate should be for work similar to the proposed work. The bidder should also submit a list of personnel/organization on hand and proposed to be engaged for the tendered work, as well as a list of plant & machinery available on hand and proposed to be inducted and hired for the tendered work.
