The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - For Degree Holder in Civil Engineering: Minimum 5 years of experience in Road Works & Building works. - For Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering: Minimum 5 years of experience in Road Works & Building works. - For Supervisor BSc (PCM): Minimum 4 years of experience. - For field testing laboratory personnel with Diploma in Civil Engineering or BSc with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics: At least 3 years of field experience. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (approximately 33.33%) of the estimated cost of the work for which the bid is invited. The bidder should have experience in works where at least 50% of the work is civil engineering works. The minimum amount of liquid assets and/or credit facilities net of other contractual commitments of the successful Bidder shall be 10% of the contract value. The bidder must also demonstrate availability of technical personnel required for construction work. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover, with at least 50% of it being from civil engineering construction works, in any one year in the last five years, with a volume equal to 100% of the estimated value of work updated to the current price level. The bidder must have access to line(s) of credit and availability of other financial resources/ facilities of 10 per cent of the contract value. The bidder should have total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited. The bidder must submit an undertaking that the Bidder will be able to invest a minimum of cash up to the 10% of the contract price during the implementation of the works.
