The required prior work experience for the bidder involves successfully completing or substantially completing specific similar works within the last 7 years. The bidder must have completed one of the following: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the requirements are similar but applied to each component of the tender. The bidder must provide details of works completed, including the name of the work, value of the contract, and documentary proof of completion. In terms of specific values and percentages, the bidder must have completed works with the following percentages of the advertised value: 30%, 40%, or 60%. For subcontractors, they must have completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract in the last 5 years, with a value of not less than 35% of the work to be subletted, unless the work costs up to Rs 50 lakh, in which case no prior experience is required.
