The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - For Technical Personnel: - A. Degree Holder in Civil Engineering: Minimum 2 years of experience for contract value up to Rs. 2 Crore. - B. Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering: Minimum 2 years of experience for contract value up to Rs. 2 Crore, and minimum 2 years of experience for contract value above Rs. 2 Crore. - For field testing laboratory: - A. Diploma holder in Civil Engineering: Minimum 5 years of experience in Testing and Quality control in Road Work. - B. Lab Assistant/Technical (ITI/B.Sc): Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance of plant & machinery. - E. Surveyor: Minimum 2 years of experience in testing. The bidder should have completed a similar work equal in value to one-third of the estimated cost of work. To qualify for the award of the contract, each bidder should have in the last five years achieved a minimum financial turnover volume of construction work of at least the amount equal to the estimated cost of works. The bidder's available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value, calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent a year. The bidder should have a minimum amount of liquid assets and/or credit facilities net of other contractual commitments, which shall be 10% of the contract value. The contract value is categorized into three ranges: None, Up to Rs. 2 Crore, and Above Rs. 2 Crore. The bidder should have invested a minimum of 10% of the value of the work. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as prime Contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should demonstrate experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for individual contracts if bidding for a package of contracts.
