The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - A Degree Holder in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience out of which five years of experience of having handled/executed independently large road work projects. - A Degree Holder in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience. - A Diploma holder in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience. - A Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance of plant & machinery. - A Surveyor with a minimum of 2 years of experience. For field testing laboratory: - A Diploma holder in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Testing and Quality control in Road Work. - A Lab Assistant/Technical (ITI/B.Sc) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance of plant & machinery. - A Surveyor with a minimum of 2 years of experience in testing. The bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover of at least the amount equal to the estimated cost of works in any one year in the last five years. The bidder should have also satisfactorily completed, as prime Contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third of the estimated cost of work for which the bid is invited. The value of similar work completed should be at least one-third of the estimated cost of the work. The bidder is required to propose subcontracting the components of the works for construction/up gradation aggregating not more than 25% of the contract price. The bidder needs to provide a certificate from a Chartered Accountant for the total annual volume of work done in the last five years. The bidder is also required to have an undertaking to invest a minimum of 10% of the value of the work. Additionally, the minimum amount of liquid assets and/or credit facilities net of other contractual commitments of the successful Bidder shall be 10% of the contract value.
