The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in general and experience in the proposed position. Specifically, the bidder should have: - A Degree Holder in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years of experience, out of which 5 years of experience of having handled/executed independently large road work projects. - A Degree Holder in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience. - A Diploma holder in Civil Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience. - A Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance of plant & machinery. - A Surveyor with minimum 2 years of experience. For field testing laboratory: - A Diploma holder in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in testing and quality control in road work. - A Lab Assistant/Technical (ITI/B.Sc) with minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance of plant & machinery. - A Surveyor with minimum 2 years of experience in testing. For routine maintenance: - A Diploma holder in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of experience. - Another Diploma holder in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of experience. The bidder should also provide information on their experience in similar works, including the total annual volume of civil engineering constructions work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned. However, the bidder is required to provide information on the value of similar works completed, including the contract value and the actual value of work completed. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years should be provided. In terms of financial requirements, the bidder should have an undertaking to invest a minimum of cash up to a defined percentage of the contract price of works during implementation, and evidence of access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources/facilities (10 percent of the contract value) certified by a banker. The amount and percentage for insurance are mentioned as follows: - Loss of or damage to the works, plants, and materials: 10% of contract value - Loss of or damage to equipment: 2.5% of contract value - Loss of or damage to property (except the works, plant, materials, and equipment) in connection with the contract: 1% of contract value - Personal injury or death: up to contract value Rs. 2 Crores, with a deductible of Rs. 2 lacs per occurrence for a maximum of three occurrences. The bidder is also required to have a minimum amount of liquid assets and/or credit facilities net of other contractual commitments, which is 10% of the contract value.
