The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The similar nature of work is "R.C.C. bridge/Limited height subway work." For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakhs, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. In case of substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount (if paid), shall be considered as the cost of substantially completed work, where a substantially completed work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor.
