The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing similar works in the last 07 years, with specific requirements as follows: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender. - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender. - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Specific examples of required prior work experience include: - 30/40/60% of Rs 23 Cr in 3/2/1 number(s) of works of a similar nature completed in 7 years. - 30/40/60% of Rs 15 Cr in 3/2/1 number(s) of works of a similar nature completed in 7 years. - 35% of Rs 5 Cr in a single work of a similar nature completed in the last 5 years. - 35% of Rs 4 Cr in a single work of a similar nature completed in the last 5 years. Additionally, the tenderer should have successfully executed steel work of more than 1500 MT in steel superstructure in Road/Rail bridge under one or more agreements in completed/ongoing works in the previous three financial years. For Joint Venture (JV) firms, each non-lead member of the JV must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed one single work of "Civil Engineering work involving construction of Railway/Road bridge of clear span of 12.2 m or more" for a minimum of 10% of the advertised value of the work.

The eligible classes required by a bidder to participate or bid in the tender are 'Class-I local supplier' and 'Class-II local supplier'.
