Laying of signalling/Telecom/power cables of different sizes as per attached guidelines (Drg. No.(NR/S&T/Con/1.1/97A) or latest on signalling cable laying and as per cable route plan 04 approved by Railways throughtrenches, RCC pipe, DWC pipe, GI pipe etc and meggering of cable before and after its laying of all type of outdoorcables. Contractor have to transport cable from any store of LKO division to site carefully. Meggering to be done for each drum separately. Meggering sheets to be supplied and filled up by contractor and submitted to Railways, as per instructions by Consignee.

Supply and laying of second class bricks in the trench and laying as per Drg. No. (NR/S&T/Con/1.1/97A)and as per instruction of the site Engineer.

Boring and trenchless cabling along with supply and insertion of DWC self lubricated pipes as perRDSOSpec no. RDSO/SPN/204/2011 Ver 1.1 or latest of 120mm nominal dia in the bore at the depth of1.4 meter to 2.1meter from formation level(level of earth below ballast) as per drawing and as directed by EngineerIncharge bytrenchless technology for laying of signalling /telecom/power cable under track /culvert etc. cable layingcoveredseperately. Inspection-RITES for Supply of DWC/HDPE pipe. The following required coupling arrangement shouldalso besupplied: 1. Suitable snap fit couplers with rubber O ring, 2. Spacers, 3. Tees. 4. Bend. 5. End Cap(1 no. =6mtr ,Straightpipe). 06 (A) The cost shall include horizontal boring through any intermediate obstruction, either natural ormanmade or anyboundary etc. (B) The rate is inclusive of all the materials equipment and labour required for duringtrenchless horizontalboring under the railway track. Nothing extra shall be admissible on any account than the ratequoted above. (C) The Pipeis to be laid under railway track/road /culvert. All necessary arrangement are to be provideand all precautions are to beend is not deviated from the horizontal level line by more than 250mm in horizontal andvertical direction. (D) The rateshall be inclusive of direction and protection of underground utilities encountered duringboring. (E) The payment forboring shall be made only when DWC HDPE pipe are laid in the bore.

Supply of terminal block M-6 (ARA terminals) Block 25mm centre small M-6 terminal made of PBT as per IRS spec. No.IRS-S-75/2006 (Rev.2) or latest & IRS drawing No. SA-23741/A (Alt. 4) or latest. Inspection: RDSO

Termination of all the cores of all type of outdoor cables after its laying on both 08 end.This also includes preparation of test report for core to core and core to earth on prescribed proforma for each core of the cable separately.This also includes dressing and lacing of cables on both ends. Proforma for testing and material for lacing to be supplied by the contractor.

Casting, concreting and curing of foundation and erection of App. Case single as per 09 Drg. No (NR/S&T/ Con/2.7/97). A layer of 3mm of Bitumin compound has to be provided between foundation and location box to prevent ingress of water in the base of location box. All material such as cement, sand, aggregate & anchor bolts shall be supplied by the contractor. Contractor is required to execute all type of repair work of foundation if required during inserting the cable for termination.

Provision, preparation & fixing of backlite hylum sheet 910x600x6mm. Funiture class wooden shelf of size 900x450x25mm duly fixed by angle iron piece of different size inside the single app case. (i) App. case single not involving wiring of relays. Hylum board shall be fixed on angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx3mm. Angle iron frame will be fixed in location boxes secured by nuts and bolts. This includes wiring, fixing of fuses, ARA terminal, fixing of Shelf type, 'Q' series relays & other type of relays on squire bars, fixing & jamming of cable with 2"salwood plank provided at the bottom. 10 This will includes opening, passing & jamming armour of each cable in the hole drilled separately for each cable through salwood plank & all cable entry points on location boxes, location huts, JBs, relay room/batt room to be closed with suitable masonary works covered with sand and plastering, writing description of terminal, drawing of circuits inside app. case. Painting from outside as well as inside with Red Oxide & Aluminium paint is covered separately. Size of lettering to be 100mm & as per site engineer's instruction.All materials such as teakwood shelf, hylum board, salwood plank, angle iron, square bar, nuts &bolts etc. shall be supplied by the contractor. ARA terminal & HRC fuse will be supplied by the Railway.

Dismantling of lifting barrier/ gate leaves complete set along with winch , wire rope, 11 boom locking arrangements. All dismantled material to be transported and stacked in the store of Dy CMM/AMV store depot or SSE/Sig/Store or any other store of northern railway as per consignee. Note :- Before dismantling joint survey is to be done with the site engr. and report to be submitted to the site engr.(1 Job= 1 LC)

Supply and installation of earth electrodes as per std. practice. The item includes digging of pit in earth, 3Mtrs. deep and fixing earth electrode pipe. Casting of cement concrete enclosures as per drg. No. (NR/S&T/CON/6.4/97)or latest. The soil treatement shall be done as per std. pratice. The item includes provision of mild steel flat of size 35mmx 6mm (as per IRSEM) and nut bolted connection of MS flat with earth electrode. The other end of mild steel flat to beconnected to 12 block instrument, cable sheath of power equipment, signal base, apparatus case, CT rack / relayracks, other equipments as per the instruction of Engr. at site & IRSEM. Earth connection Signal & location boxes to be done as perDrg.No. 19-D6 of IRSEM App II or latest. Complete materials such as earth electrodes as per Drg. No. (NR/S&T/CON/6.3/97) or latest , cement, wiring material, nut bolt for connection & mild steel flat of size minimum 35mmx 6mm or 210 sqm as per SEM and as per physical site requirement to be supplied by the contractor. Inspection by - Consignee for supply of earth electrode. Note : Pipe/Earth Pipe= Nos.

Loading, Leading & unloading of materials from store to another store as per instruction of consignee. All the material to be transported carefully without damage. Contractor have to do proper stacking of material and preparelist of material.

Supply of cable fault locator for underground metallic S&T cable of reputed make 3M Dynatel /Andig/Aplab/ Stanley /Telemetrics or similar reputed make specification similar to (Test 14 signal output1/2 Sine, Pulse width 5nsec to 2500nsec, Max Range:1500m, Filter cut-off Frequency:150kHz (High Pass Filter),Gain:0 to 63dB), RDSO/TEC recommended. Item to be supplied after successful demonstration and approval of railways. Visual Inspection by RITES against test certificate& guarantee certifcate of OEM

Supply and provision of straight through joints with the help of thermoshrink jointing ( 15 TSF) kit as per specifications, drawings and stipulations of tender documents and as per approved cable route plan at various locations for 06 quad/04 Quad cable.Jointing kit to be supplied as per RDSO Specification IRS:TC 77-2012(Rev-3) or latest amendments. Inspection- consignee for supply item.

Supply & installation of Optical Fiber cable Joint enclosure as per 16 RDSO/SPN/TC/68/2007 Rev. Amendment no. 1 or with latest amendment and splicing of optical Fiber cables(24 Fibers) and testing. This includes provision of joint pit (RCC/pre fabricated) as detail in the technical specification and as advised by engineer at site. Inspection : Consignee for supply item.

Laying of HDPE duct in the trenches including in HDD/Manual Boring and supply pulling 17 of Nylon rope through is at different places as per direction of engineer incharge/Site engineer.It includes Supply of HDPE duct outer dia 40mm & inner dia 33mm as per TEC Gr No. G/CDS-08/02 Nov /2004 with latest amendment with end cap to be provided along with the drum at both ends. (RDSO specs No. RDSO/SPN/TC/45/2013 Rev.2.0). Inspection by consignee for supply item 18

Blowing/Drawing of OFC/Power cable into HDPE pipe.

Supply of spare electric operated lifting barrier GI Boom as per RDSO Drg S-11600 in maximum 4 sections of 8 feet. (set = One copmplete Lifting Barrier GI Boom) . Inspection : Consignee

Dismantling and releasing single signal post which includes dismantling of signal 20 fittings electrical and mechanical both wheel of sorts,GI pipe pullies,pully stakes wire run from cabin to signal posts etc.All dismantled material to be transported and stacked in the store of SSE/Sig/Store AMV/store or any other store of N.Rly as per consignee. Note :- Before dismantling joint survey is to be done with the site Engr. and report to be submitted to the site Engr. (1 Job= 1 Signal)
