The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing works in the last seven years, with details of the work, including description, value of contract, date of award, and date of completion. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any of the following during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The bidder must also have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less; where V= Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N= Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The values and percentages mentioned are: - 30% of advertised value of the tender for three similar works - 40% of advertised value of the tender for two similar works - 60% of advertised value of the tender for one similar work. For tenders having value up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of subcontractor shall be asked for. However, for other tenders, the bidder must provide a list of works completed in the last seven years, including description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at time of award, date of award, and date of completion. The bidder must also provide a list of works on hand, indicating description of work, contract value, approximate value of balance work yet to be done, and date of award. The available bid capacity is calculated based on the maximum value of construction works executed and payment received in any one of the previous three financial years or the current financial year, and the existing commitments and balance amount of ongoing works. In case of tenders for composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any of the following during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of tender. Definition of Similar Work is any Work involving Joint Feasibility Report (JFR)/ Detailed Project Report (DPR) of ROB/RUB/ROR. The bidder must have minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less; where V= Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees N= Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. The tenderers shall submit requisite information as per Annexure-2 of Chapter-3, along with copies of Audited Balance Sheets duly certified by the Chartered Accountant/ Certificate from Chartered Accountant duly supported by Audited Balance Sheet. Annexure –1 of Chapter-3 requires the contractor to provide information about similar work executed, including name and scope of the work, authority who awarded the contract, contractual agreement number and date, and completed value of the contract. For tenders having an advertised value of more than Rs 20 crore, the tenderer will be qualified only if its available bid capacity is equal to or more than the total bid value of the present tender.
