The required prior work experience for the bidder includes the execution and successful completion or substantial completion of similar work. The bidder must have completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The bidder is required to furnish a list of works completed in the last seven years, including description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of award, and date of completion. For subletting of work, the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor shall be asked for. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of “total contractual payments” in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. "Substantially completed" means an ongoing work where payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value (excluding payment made for adjustment of Price variation) has been made to the contractor, and no proceedings of termination of contract on Contractor's default have been initiated. Tenders having advertised value up to Rs 50.00 lakh do not require technical and financial credentials.
