The required prior work experience for the bidder involves successfully completing or substantially completing certain categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. The categories include: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the categories are similar but based on the advertised value of each component of the tender. The bidder must provide a list of works completed in the last seven financial years, including details such as description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of award, and date of completion. The subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The average annual contractual turnover is calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years. A work experience certificate from a public listed company having an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years is considered. The bidder is required to furnish a list of works completed and a list of works on hand, with details such as description of work, contract value, approximate value of balance work yet to be done, and date of award. The bidder's offer will be evaluated based on the documents/credentials submitted along with the offer. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender - 40% of the advertised value of the tender - 60% of the advertised value of the tender - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work - Rs 500 crore as the average annual turnover for a public listed company.
