North Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder is the satisfactory execution of work of Railway electrification at 25 KV single phase a.c. involving preparation of design and drawing for OHE, casting of foundation, erection of masts, bracket fabrication & erection, wiring and other related works with experiences of working in power and/or traffic blocks anywhere in the Railways. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the bidder must have completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of each component of tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of each component of tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of each component of tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of subcontractor shall be asked for. Work experience certificates from government organizations or public listed companies with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years are considered valid. The required percentages of similar works completed are 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender, and the required amounts are not less than these percentages of the advertised value. Additionally, for subletting of work, the required percentage is 35% of the value of work to be subletted.
