The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For works involving more than one distinct component, the bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. In case of subletting, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The required prior work experience for the bidder includes substantially completed work, where payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. The value of the final bill, including the Price Variation (PVC) amount, is considered as the completion cost of work. If the final bill is pending, only the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, is considered as the completion cost of work. In case of substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, is considered as the cost of substantially completed work. A work started prior to 7 years but completed in the last 7 years can be considered for fulfillment of credentials. If a work is physically completed, but the final bill is pending, it can still be considered for fulfillment of credentials. The overall cost, including the PVC amount, of a completed or substantially completed work similar in nature is considered for technical credentials, without separate evaluation for each component. Partnership firms' credentials are re-worked out if partners quit or join, with the quitting partner taking away their share of credentials or the new partner adding their credentials to the firm. The bidder must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less, where V= Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees N= Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender - 40% of the advertised value of the tender - 60% of the advertised value of the tender - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted - 90% of the present contract value - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work - V/N or 'V' whichever is less, where V= Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees N= Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited.
