Bidders must have successfully completed at least one similar project costing at least 80% of the estimated project cost (₹2,48,50,000.00) or ₹800 crore, whichever is less. For projects with an estimated cost above ₹1000 crore, the minimum eligibility is defined by considering the estimated cost as ₹1000 crore. 'Similar works' are defined as residential or non-residential building works of any number of stories. A company may use the experience of its subsidiary, but not its parent or group company, and vice versa. In mergers/acquisitions, past experience of merged/acquired companies is considered. In demergers, the original company's experience is considered proportionately for five years from the demerger date. Joint ventures and consortia are ineligible. For work done in a joint venture, only the proportionate experience will be considered. Experience certificates for projects outside India must be attested by the Indian Embassy/Consulate/High Commission and may use an Apostille stamp if from a Hague Convention member country.
