The required prior work experience for the bidder includes a degree holder in civil engineering with a minimum of years of experience, a diploma holder in civil engineering with a minimum of years of experience, a supervisor with a BSc (PCM) and a minimum of years of experience, and technical personnel with a diploma in civil engineering or BSc with physics, chemistry, and mathematics, and at least year of field experience. The bidder should have successfully and satisfactorily completed or substantially completed similar works during the last 7 years. The required experience is either of the following: 1. At least three similar completed works, each costing not less than 40% of the Estimated Project Cost. 2. At least two similar completed works, each costing not less than 50% of the Estimated Project Cost. 3. One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the Estimated Project Cost. The bidder should have work performed as a prime contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years, with a certificate from the Engineer-in-charge as proof of experience.
