M&L brick, sub class 'B' bricks laid dry, flat, length equal to width of brick over sand cusioning in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for cutting /boring to plinth protection/ hard standing / road etc in suitable depth to across the GI pipe size upto 80 mm dia of bore for drawn through XLPE under ground cable for giving mechanical protection to cable complete all as specified & directed. Note: Quoted rate shall be included the cost of required material for repairing to disturbed surface complete all as per existing site and all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Notes for Serial Item No. 23.00: (i) The concrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40 mm thick pre cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I. (ii) Item includes the cost of 7.50m GI pipe for protection of earth wire/strip Any variation in length shall be adjusted through deviation order. (iv) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.
