M&L for preparing of existing expansion joints including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 20 to 25 mm wide and 40 mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the filler board and pouring the sealant. (iv) All T&P shall be as approved in writing by GE before commencement of work and shall be recorded in log book before making any payment to the contractor.

PQC laid, spread and compacted including curing and tining including surface texturing to be done as specified in Clause 10 1 14 and Table 9 of IRC : 15-2017complete all as specified and as directed.

Repair of cracks in Dispersal PQC slabs The work under this item shall be carried out in following steps:- (a) Surface Preparation. Cleaning the cracks that have been contaminated to the extent it is possible and practical. The cracks should be cleaned and all the loose concrete if any, or plaster which sounds hollow when tapped shall be removed. Contaminants such as oil, grease, dirt, or fine particles of concrete prevent epoxy penetration and bonding and reduce the effectiveness of repairs shall be removed as per the manufacturer recommendation. Ensure the crack areas should not have any visible dampness and must have surface moisture 4%. (b) Fixing of Grouting Nozzle All the cracks must be open wide and drill the holes of 6-10mm dia with atleast 50-75mm into the concrete. The nozzles shall be placed at 300mm c/c using approved Epoxy Resin Mortar, an epoxy repair mortar system having compressive strength of 95MPa as per ASTM C109; Tensile Strength of 15 MPa as per ASTM C307 and Flexural Strength of 30 MPa as per ASTM C078. Ensure that the adhesive shall not block the drilled holes.

(c) Injection Grouting using Low Viscous Epoxy Resin grout System Mix the two component, low viscous Resin & non pigmented hardener liquid epoxy resin system having final compressive strength of 70MPa and curing time of 7 days. The Epoxy Resin system must be low viscous with high capillary action, non shrink and deep penetration with hard and abrasion resistant and shall be able to withstand loads and stress.
Injection of the epoxy grout shall be done from the furthest point towards the center keeping regular eyes for resin coming for the next hole to avoid any wastage of material. Once the grouting is done and injected epoxy is cured, cut the nozzles and seal the holes with the ERM system.

M&L for removal of paint from concrete and bituminous surface using hydroblasting technique with suitable vacuuming/cleaning system with suitable operating pressure so that the total paint deposits area removed from surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.
Note:-
(i) Total paint deposit shall be removed and the debris/water to be vacuumed simultaneously leaving No FOD so that the Runway is available for operation immediately.
(ii) Paint debris in solid form should be finally disposed off outside MOD land.
