M&L for applying one coat of cement base paint of colour as approved to give uniform finish including preparation of old painted concrete surfaces of runway, taxi track, link / dispersal complete all as specified and as directed. Note for Item No 1 to 4 :- Masking tape shall be used on edges of paints before painting and removing the same after paint is applied where ever required and as directed.

M&L for applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint in red,yellow or white color as approved to give uniform finish including preperation of old painted concrete surfaces, plastered or unplastered surface of wall complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying one coat of approved black synthetic enamel paint on three sides of DTGM having size 1.20M x 1.50 M installed in airfield area consisiting of black background and providing red colour high quality retro reflective tape numerical/alphabet letter 150mm width and 1000mm height on two sides as per existing pattern complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone masonry built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facings,dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster of any description on brick wall or ceiling including raking out joints, hacking for key , scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L brick work with old size sub-class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L brick work with old size bricks sub class 'B' brick (except bricks) straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Serviceable bricks obtained from demolition under item No 7 shall be reused.

M&L 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on brick work or concrete surfaces, surface finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling bricks (laid flat or on edge) or bricks tiles in floors, channels, kerbs, aprons, etc (each layer) laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L bricks, sub-class 'B' old size bricks, laid flat, in floors, bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L bricks, sub-class 'B' old size bricks (except bricks) laid flat, in floors, saucer drains etc bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Serviceable bricks obtained from dismantling under item No 12 shall be reused.

M&L for repair to broken/damage portion of concrete slab or pavement by cutting damaged portion to silab /spoils edges to triangular or rectangular cross section with mechanical cutter and removing all loose and foreign materials and depositing the same to out side MOD land and cleaning the surface by compressed air to remove all dust dirt etc and washing with hydrochloric acid and filling with epoxy resin mortar after application of epoxy primer as per manufacture instructions- bull nosing the edges complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Old unserviceable material so obtained from damaged portion of concrete slab shall be removed out side MoD land. (ii) Working hours may be restricted due to flying operations. (iii) Unit quoted rate shall be deemed to included the cost of power supply required for cutting of damaged portion of concrete slab of runway.

M&L for cutting of existing Runway/Taxi tracks at cracks and at spalled edges upto a minimum depth of 25 to 35mm by mechanical tools making groove at edges cleaning throughly by air blower/air blastisng and applying proprietory primer on the cleaned surfaces to obtain tack and finally filling in ELASTOMERIC CONCERETE of make Choksey Chemicals/CIPY/BASF or equivalent as approved (prepared by mixing part A, part B and adding fiberglass sand all as per manufactureres instructions) and properly mixing in purpose made mixer plant electrically operated) to obtain a homogeneous mixture and finally tooling the surface with hand tools to obtain a grooved textured finish complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The rate quoted is inclusive of providing masking tape at joints and use and waste of form work as required at spalled edges and making good the disturbed joint filling around the area where material is applied.

M&L for preparing of existing expansion joints including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 20 to 25 mm wide and 40 mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the filler board and pouring the sealant. Thereafter filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as required , over it filled with closed cell medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia for complete length of the joint.and providing a suitable dia polyurethane back up rod/debonding strip and top 13mm primed and sealed with using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer as per manufacturers recommendation polyurethane sealent complying with BS-5212 & BS -4254 and EN 141875 -2003 ( for hydrolysis / water resistance test ) priming the sides with minimum MAF± 30 % with Ten years performance guarantee and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is applied complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Material obtained from removing of existing filled up materials shall be removed out side MOD land.

M&L for preparing of existing construction joints including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 12 to18 mm wide and 30 mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before pouring the sealant and providing a suitable dia polyurethane back up rod/debonding strip and top 13mm primed and sealed with using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer as per manufacturers recommendation polyurethane sealent complying with BS-5212 & BS -4254 and EN 141875 -2003 ( for hydrolysis / water resistance test ) priming the sides with minimum MAF± 30 % with Ten years performance guarantee and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is applied complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Material obtained from removing of existing filled up materials shall be removed out side MOD land

M&L for preparing of existing dummy/contraction joints including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 8 to12 mm wide and 25 mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before pouring the sealant and providing a suitable dia polyurethane back up rod/debonding strip and top 13mm primed and sealed with using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer as per manufacturers recommendation polyurethane sealent complying with BS-5212 & BS -4254 and EN 141875 -2003 ( for hydrolysis / water resistance test ) priming the sides with minimum MAF± 30 % with Ten years performance guarantee and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is applied complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Material obtained from removing of existing filled up materials shall be removed out side MOD land.

S&F in repair 20 mm thick insulated toughened glass (5 mm thick clear toughened glass and 5 mm thick black toughened glass with 10 mm spacing between both the glass) and fixed with aluminimum beading and rubber gasket of suitable size fixed in aluminimum frame work in ATC tower complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting or Scarping grass, bush, weeds or vegetation on the edges of both side of runway/PTT/Roads/near DTGM board manually and removing unserviceable material out side MOD land complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Grass shall be cut and finished 10 mm to 25 mm above the existing ground level. (ii) The work shall be carried out manually or by using grass cutting machine of any type as approved. The rate quoted under this item is inclusive of such provn and nothing extra is admissible on this account.

Cutting of grass, bush, weeds/ vegetation by using mechanical means likeTractor with Slasher assembly/ bush cutters and cutting 50 mm to 100 mm or above slasher where ever required including collecting the grass through mechanical tools like cultivator and removing material so obtained from cutting/cleaning (both side) up to 100m from the concrete edges. Size of slasher attached with tractor shall be 5-6 feet, blade high carbon, type-rotary complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Contractor will arrange his own mechanical slasher- 02 Nos per day (set of one tractor & Jungle Jeem) with POL & MT driver and 02 Nos bush cutter daily for grass cutting operations. (ii) Rate quoted under this item is inclusive of all T&P, POL and operator as mentioned above. (iii). On requirement contractor shall arrange more than one mechanical slasher and bush cutter per day as per order and T&P should not be more than 5 year vintage. (iv) All T&P shall be as approved in writing by GE before commencement of work and shall be recorded in log book before making any payment to the contractor.

Ploughing of Soft Ground Arrestor (SGA) area with mechanical means alongwith Cultivator or other tools for depth not less than 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Contractor shall arrange Mechanical means of min 30 HP capacity/ cultivator under his own arrangement with POL & MT driver as per requirement of Air Field. The requirement shall be intimated to contractor well in advance. (ii) Rate quoted under this item is inclusive of all T&P, POL and operator as mentioned above. (iii) T&P should not be more than 5 year vintage. (iv) All T&P shall be at par with AirForce requirement, if not the same can be modified to meet the requirement of the AF Station authority.

S&F in repair visible retro-reflective sign boards made from 3 mm thick engineering grade plastic (acrylic sheet) having monolithic structure to withstand temprature variations from cold environment to sweltering hot conditions and to withstand high velocity winds frmaed and braced with 40 mm dia PVC pipe best quality towith stand high ground level with best quality structure including fixing of the same in existing post hole as required, including applying weather resistance coating, providing and pasting of new numerals or alpahbets with retro reflective tape cutting it as computer plotter etc complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for removal of down filled earth from drain and cleaning the bottom and side drain from mud vegetation and preapared the surface for smooth flow of water etc and removing the roots ,vegetation and mud up to 50 M from the periphery of the area complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- To determine the depth of sludge initial level and level after cleaning of drain shall be taken and recorded in MB duly signed , Engineer - in Charge , Contractor and GE.

Demolition of PCC floor ,plinth and paving not exceeding 15 cm thickness below or above ground level and removing rubbish out site of MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 150mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate laid in alternate bays as in floor, surface finished with spike rolling or making impression of expanded metal whilst the concrete is green including necessary use and waste of form work complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) (PQC graded) as in floor and paving exceeding 150mm thickness below or above ground floor with concrete breaker/manually as required at site and removing rubbish out site of MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) exceeding 150mm thick of minimum 28 days field flexural strength of 45kg/Sqcm or 4.5 Mpa, aggregate gradation as per Table 3 of IRC 15-2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard strong, dense, non-porous and durable pieces of curshed stone or gravel fine aggregate of clean natural sand or curshed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 400 kg/cum of cement with non-circular, virgin synthetic fibre of 12-18mm length, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39 UV stable, alkali resistant with equivalent dia 15-40 micron, minimum melting temperature as 240 degree celcius and minimum tensile strength of 300 Mpa and at the rate as specified by the manufacture as per IS 16481:2016. PQC laid, spread and compacted including curing and tining including surface texturing to be done as specified in Clause 10 1 14 and Table 9 of IRC : 15-2017complete all as specified and as directed.

Repair of cracks in Dispersal PQC slabs The work under this item shall be carried out in following steps:- (a) Surface Preparation. Cleaning the cracks that have been contaminated to the extent it is possible and practical. The cracks should be cleaned and all the loose concrete if any, or plaster which sounds hollow when tapped shall be removed. Contaminants such as oil, grease, dirt, or fine particles of concrete prevent epoxy penetration and bonding and reduce the effectiveness of repairs shall be removed as per the manufacturer recommendation. Ensure the crack areas should not have any visible dampness and must have surface moisture 4%. (b) Fixing of Grouting Nozzle All the cracks must be open wide and drill the holes of 6-10mm dia with atleast 50-75mm into the concrete. The nozzles shall be placed at 300mm c/c using approved Epoxy Resin Mortar, an epoxy repair mortar system having compressive strength of 95MPa as per ASTM C109; Tensile Strength of 15 MPa as per ASTM C307 and Flexural Strength of 30 MPa as per ASTM C078. Ensure that the adhesive shall not block the drilled holes.

(c) Injection Grouting using Low Viscous Epoxy Resin grout System Mix the two component, low viscous Resin & non pigmented hardener liquid epoxy resin system having final compressive strength of 70MPa and curing time of 7 days. The Epoxy Resin system must be low viscous with high capillary action, non shrink and deep penetration with hard and abrasion resistant and shall be able to withstand loads and stress. Injection of the epoxy grout shall be done from the furthest point towards the center keeping regular eyes for resin coming for the next hole to avoid any wastage of material. Once the grouting is done and injected epoxy is cured, cut the nozzles and seal the holes with the ERM system.

M&L for removal of paint from concrete and bituminous surface using hydroblasting technique with suitable vacuuming/cleaning system with suitable operating pressure so that the total paint deposits area removed from surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Total paint deposit shall be removed and the debris/water to be vacuumed simultaneously leaving No FOD so that the Runway is available for operation immediately. (ii) Paint debris in solid form should be finally disposed off outside MOD land.
