M&L construction brick masonry valve pit / chamber of size 900mm x 900mm x 900mm (internal dimensions of chamber) using sub class B bricks built in one brick thick wall in cement mortar 1:4) including top of MS cover with MS sheet cover 6mm thick including frame of angle iron 50 x 50 x 6mm with locking arrangement, lifting handle and 02 Nos 125mm size MS butt hinges including painting two coats of black synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, 15mm thick plastering in cement mortar (1:4) (internally on all brick wall and external upto 15cm below ground level) and necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning, filling in, disposal of surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr, 15 cm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 in foundation projected by 15cm all round from the outer face of brick wall, PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) 40mm thick in coping complete including taking down old unserviceable valve pit chamber all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down CI/DI defective/leaked water mains (including fittings) with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joint and recovering lead complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:-

80mm dia bore

100mm dia bore

Suplying, laying, jointing & testing of ductile iron (DI) pipes of 100mm dia bore with spigot ends, class K-7, centrifugaly cast conforming to IS-8329 specifications, lining, in any length, laid in trenches complete with and including necessary rubber gasket joints complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Ductile iron fittings of such as i.e. bends (any type, radius and angle), Tapers any type, (straight, bend, increasing , decreasing or double socket etc.) Tee pieces single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot and/ or flanged ends as directed) including collars, caps and plugs, up to 200 mm bore of pipes, ISI Marked, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for MS casing pipe of 300mm dia as per IS 3589 (2001), thickness 4.00 mm including pushing os same in bore hole under the road / hard standing complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for making bore by adopting method of horizontal directional drilling (HDD) i.e. trenchless technology, micro tunneling suitable for passing 300 mm dia casing pipe under the road/NH/hard standing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of road / hard standing surface for laying/removing of pipe lines suitable for 100 mm to 150 mm dia including making good in original shape by providing proper boulder as in sub base and 100 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 after laying/removing of same complete all as specified & directed.

Supplying, fixing, jointing and testing of CI sluice valve, class PN 1.6 of size 100mm dia bore flanged ends, heavy duty, long body, with steel spindle, ISI marked, (conforming to IS-780 or latest revised) including MS nuts, bolts, washers, gaskit & paste solvent and machinery work like cutting, facing, grinding of sluice valve, dewatering, necessary earth work including taking out old sluice valve complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down 20mm dia steel water tubing and connection from any position complete as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing 20mm bore mild steel galvanised water tubing medium grade with all GI fittings and laid in trenches, on wall, floor, ceiling etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement gun metal globe or gate valve conforming to IS : 778 ISI marked with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe of size 20mm bore including GI fitting socket, nipple, unions as well cutting of pipe and necessary earth work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for in replacement flat iron clamp made up of 32mmx5mm width flat iron MS sheet in two half including one half having a hole and welded one GI socket of 25mm dia on top of hole suitable for upto 100mm dia pipe including nuts and bolts rubber packing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting DI pipe line of 100mm dia in position for insertion of fittings for branch line to make connection complete all as specified and directed. Note : fittings & valves will be measured and paid seperately under respective item of BOQ.

Note: (i) For Srl Item No 5.00, 6.00 & 13.00 : Necessary earth work shall be measured and paid for seperately under appropriate item of BOQ. (ii) Water supply need to be restored on the same day, for non restoring supply of water on same evening, a penalty of Rs 5000/- per day will be levied.
