Repair to pot holes of any depth area not exceeding 1 sqm ech including sweeping free from dust and mud, water, scoring, sunken surfaces in road, path etc, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, and making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm of paving bitumen (VG-10), putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed ans sealed with binder 98 kg per 10 sqm of paving bitumen (VG-30), blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premix macadam, binder and chippings), depth of pot holes not exceeding 30 mm. complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Pot holes shall be markede & checked by Engineer-in-Charge 100 % qty before commencement of work and shall also be entered in MB with refence to permanent object before starting the carpeting work).

M&L for Preparing of black top bituminous surfaces by brushing with brushes for removing caked mud, grass, vegitation etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air pressure through air jet using air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc incl removing mud etc to a distance minimum 1.50m from edge of road and applying evenly a tack coat of bituminous primer using paving bitumen (VG-10) at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated hot pressure mechanisum, supplying, laying, spreading 30mm consolidated thickness of semi dense asphaltic bituminous concrete carpet (VG-30) with 0.406 cum crushed and graded coarse aggregates with design mix formula with bitumen not less than 5.5% binder content using paver with mechanical paver all as specified in clause device for automatic leveling and profile control within the specified tolerance as mentioned in SSR Part-I , rolled with 8 to 10 tone powar Roller to uniform smooth surface and consolidated to required camber and gradient with power roller for uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, spreading upto 75mm or less consolidated thickness of premix bituminous macadam carpet filling in depression (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in single layer using mechanical paver using bituminous binder (VG-30) at the rate 4% by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted/consolidated to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tone power roller to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed. (Note for item No. 2 & 3 : Based on job mix formula, in case the binder content (i.e. Bitumen) is less than the content specified under these items then a minus adjustment @ Rs 40/- per kg of bitumen (less consumed) shall be made on the quoted rate of contractor against these items, hence the quoted rate of contractor shall be reduced based on less content of bitumen required as per job mix formula. However, no price adjustment on plus side shall be made for increase of quantity of bitumen in case of required as per job mix formula).
