Carrying out maintenance of plumbing complaints under area of E/M section by engaging plumber (skilled) and helper with Smart Tools for general day to day all plumbing complaints (from 0900 hours to 1700 hours), petty repair wks of external water supply nature pertains to pipes and pipe fittings comprise of checking of existing pipe lines including pipe fittings i.e. replacement of union joints/ Tee/elbow/bend/flange/collar/valves, detection of nature of leakage and broken pipelines carrying out minor repairs etc. as required to make the water supply functional or to restore water supply with and incl tightening of loose connections by new thread making wherever required, and refixing the same after necessary repairs, replacing defective fittings provided under relevant items of BoQ here-in-after as supply only or any items issued by MES Water Supply store free for fixing and accounting through baby indent with and incl petty repairs items/materials of any size and description upto 150 mm pipe and fittings, and incl excavation including returning & filling in ground or under valve pit for fixing of accessories making all supply connection etc., in any location within the area of Talbehat Cantt by deploying sufficient number of qualified pipe fitters & helpers alongwith suitable T & P safety equipment & other necessary device, every day expect Sunday and Holiday, during day time from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Rate inclusive of rectification of complaints and removing rubbish upto a distance of 250 m outside the periphery of the area. (ii) The cost of transportation (to and for) and other necessary T & P (i.e. Pipe Wrench, Hexa,fixing thread, thread die of each sizes, safety shoes, and safety equipments shall be arranged/brought by contractor to complete the job and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor in this effect. (iii) Plumber and helper/mazdoor shall be detailed daily for area of AGE (I) Talbehat for the purpose of rendering all plumbing complaints through out the contract period. In case of failure to deploy man power for any reason whatsoever may be, necessary penalty will be levied as specified in respective PS Clause. (iv) In case of urgent complaint shall be rectified within three hours from the time of intimation. (v) The rates quoted shall be deemed for attending day to day complaint and make functional the entire complaints on a daily basis at area of AGE (I) Talbehat.
