M&L for premix bituminous macadam (Design mix) (consolidated thicked 75 mm or less) with 4% binder content using paving bitumen VG-30 grade by weight of total mix laid and rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Premix Bituminous macadam shall be obtained from hot mix plant and spreading shall be done with mechanical paver and asphaltic dense concrete work shall be done within 48 hours after completion of rolling and consolidation of bituminious macadam. (b) Contractor shall quote his rate on the basis of binder as mentioned in above item if there is any variation in the actual binder content used in lower side, the rate shall be adjusted @ Rs.45/Kg. However no price adjustment shall be made if the binder content works out to more than as specified above.

M&L for preparing surface of existing black top surface of road by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc sweeping with broom & finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bag to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with mechanical sprayer over old black top surfaces with bituminous primer (VG-10) at 5kg per 10 sq metre complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for 30 mm thick (consolidated average thickness) bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concerete with 5.5% binder (of paving bitumen VG-30) content by weight of total mix, rolled & compacted with 08 to 10 tonne power / vibratory road roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed . Note:- (a) Premix concrete shall be mixed in hot mix plant by using design mix and transported from plant to work site and laid/ spread by means of mechanical paver sensor paver. (b) Contractor shall quote his rate on this basis of binder as mentioned in above item if there is any variation in the actual binder content used, the rate shall be adjusted lower side of binder used @ Rs. 45/Kg. However no price adjustement shall be made if the binder content percentage is more as specified above.

M&L for continous brick edging with width equal to the width of the brick laid dry on end verticlly with burnt clay brick of sub class 'B', old size bricks complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of road surface and applying thermoplastic reflective paint for marking of minium 2.5 mm thick single coat as a centre line or edge line etc road marking of 150/100 mm width using 'HOT MARK' thermo plastic paint (Hot application white/yellow by indenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredients such as binder, glass beads, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, inter filler etc, thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be conforming to BS-6086 & MORTH specification including spraying of glass beads etc complete all as per manufactures instructions and as directed by Engineer incharge

S&F safty traffic safe PVC unbreakable convex mirror (60 cm) made of poly carbonate / ABS / Fibre including fixing arrangement fixed to MS pipe 50 mm dia and 1.5 m high from ground level, duly painted with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and embedded in ground with and including PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) excavation returning filling, removal etc of size (250 mm x 250 mm x 400 mm) complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The rate for excavation, removal of soil and PCC complete shall be including in above quoted rate.
